Amazon.com Product Description
Find your way by phone with turn-by-turn voice guidance from the Nokia 6110's built-in GPS, and get excellent global GSM coverage wherever you roam. This quad-band GSM/EDGE phone is also ready to run on 850 MHz/2100 MHz UMTS/HSDPA 3G networks (found in Europe, Australia and Asia), enabling fast downloads and streaming multimedia while on the go. Other features include a 2-megapixel camera with video capture, Bluetooth with stereo music streaming, FM radio, multi-format digital audio player, MicroSD memory expansion up to 8 GB, personal email with document viewer, and up to 3.5 hours of talk time.

The slider-style Nokia 6110 provides built-in GPS reception for turn-by-turn directions.
This unlocked cell phone can be used with a GSM network service provider and it provides quad-band connectivity (850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz). It does not come with a SIM card, and it requires that you provide a SIM card for usage with your selected service provider.

When paired with a compatible 3G network that uses WCDMA 2100 MHz connectivity (found in Europe and Asia), you'll enjoy a variety of feature-rich wireless services with speeds up to 384 Kbps--from data connectivity to your office to multimedia streaming, and take advantage of simultaneous voice and data services. In the United States and foreign territories where 2100 MHz 3G networks are not available, you'll continue to receive data service via EDGE network (depending on network compatibility).

Phone Features
With integrated maps, routing and navigation available with the click of the phone's one-touch Navigator key, the Nokia 6110 Navigator offers a full personal navigation experience in the palm of the hand. Using the Nokia Navigator application featuring NAVTEQ map data, the Nokia 6110 Navigator comes with detailed world maps as standard. NAVTEQ maps span six continents and 17 million kilometres of road. Each road segment features attributes such as street names, address ranges, turning restrictions, one way streets, which facilitate more precise routing. There are also 50 Points of Interest (POIs) categories covering everything from hotels to petrol stations and airports to sports facilities, all adding up to over 15 million items.

Find your way with voice-guided navigation and turn arrows showing you the way on the map display. Get faster, more accurate position data with AGPS (assisted GPS), with support for the OMA SUPL and 3GPP assistance standards. Understand clearly where you're going with the integrated stereo speakers optimized for voice navigation guidance.

The Nokia 6110 has a 2.2-inch QVGA LCD screen with a 320 x 240-pixel resolution and support for 16 million colors. A light sensor is embedded into the phone to optimize display and keypad brightness as well as power consumption. It has a 40 MB internal memory, which is expandable via optional MicroSD memory cards (up to 8 GB in size).

This phone provides Bluetooth version 2.0 wireless connectivity, and includes profiles for communication headset, handsfree car kits, and file transfer. You can connect your laptop (either via Bluetooth or wired USB) and enjoy dial-up networking--surf the Internet, send email, and access files from a server.

The phone has all the bases covered when it comes to messaging and Internet connectivity. Use the phone's built-in picture messaging capability to send text, graphics, and pictures to your friends. The phone features a built-in WAP 2.0 Web browser (supports HTML, xHTML, TCP/IP) for downloads and mobile Web browsing. The phone also supports Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging (AMS)--a fast and simple way to send voice or sound clips via MMS. T9 text entry, a technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built into the unit--a plus for mobile email and text messaging users.

The 2-megapixel camera on the back has a 4x digital zoom, and it can also capture videos. Video clip length depends on available memory. The phone has an integrated digital audio player, and the phone is compatible with real-music ringtones in a variety of formats (MP3, MPEG-4, AAC, eAAC+, WMA). You can listen to your favorite radio programs via the integrated FM radio, and the Visual Radio feature lets you see information about songs or artists.
